With this solicitation, Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP)seeks to support the development and dissemination of translational tools and resources – current knowledge about what works packaged in accessible, comprehensible, actionable form for use by everyday youth serving (nonresearcher) practitioners, and lay persons to effect and sustain positive change – on key topics spanning the
juvenile justice continuum in order to improve the juvenile justice system and prevent juvenile delinquency.

The goal of this project is to collect, translate, and disseminate the most current knowledge about what works in juvenile justice in a manner/format that is easily accessible, comprehensible, and actionable by nonresearcher practitioners and lay persons.
Objectives
Key project objectives include:
- Propose and respond to OJJDP-proposed specific, topical juvenile justice focus areas with a variable range of available knowledge bases and that span the full juvenile justice continuum.
- Curate current research and knowledge/information (as broadly defined in the Goals section above) about what works in the selected juvenile justice topical focus areas.
- Collaborate effectively throughout the project period with OJJDP-funded national training and technical assistance providers across the juvenile justice continuum to curate and align content.
- Develop translational tools, materials, and resources that advance the understanding and ability of everyday (nonresearcher) juvenile justice practitioners and stakeholders to competently transform that curated knowledge into concrete, sustainable change.
- Scope and delineate, for each topical area addressed by the project, the specific type(s) of knowledge relied upon in the course of researching and developing associated project deliverables.
- Work closely in partnership with OJJDP subject matter and communications experts throughout the project period to ensure that all project work products comply and align with OJJDP’s web-based marketing and dissemination timeline and strategies.
