LAMV-CF’s Community Grants spring 2023 focus is on the mental health needs of local youth and young adults.
The Foundation will prioritize funding organizations and projects serving Mountain View, Los Altos, and Los Altos Hills that provide services related to mental health needs of youth and young adults (ages 0-25).
Priorities
Foundation particularly interested in proposals from organizations represented by women and/or BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) leaders.

- Foundation have $100,000 in funding available for spring 2023.
- Grants customarily range from $1,000 to $5,000.
Restrictions
- In general, only one Community Grant will be awarded to an organization within a 12-month period. Organizations that received general operating support in the fall grant round are eligible to apply if they provide services related to their spring grant theme.
- LAMV-CF does not award multi-year grants. Grants may not be regranted. Grants are not awarded to religious, political, or profit-making organizations, or to individuals for personal benefit.
- LAMV-CF does not award grants to organizations that discriminate based on race, ancestry, color, age, familial status, handicap, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, lawful sources of income, national origin or documentation status, or any other discriminatory practice prohibited by state or federal law.
Eligibility Criteria
LAMV-CF accepts grant applications for charitable, educational, or community building purposes, primarily from tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. School programs are eligible for consideration.
