Eligible businesses can receive up to $10K in funds.
Is your business eligible?
- Please review before applying. Eligible businesses meet all of the following requirements:
- a D.C. business located in Ward 7 or 8
- Your business must be located in Ward 7 or 8.
- a retail business
- Your business must be a small, D.C.-based for-profit retail business with a valid D.C. business license for your location.
- Eligible retail businesses include:
- home-based makers
- small retail businesses
- e-commerce business
- Black-owned
- Your business must be at least 50% Black-owned.
- in good standing with D.C.
- Your business must be in Good Standing with the District of Columbia. You will be required to submit a Certificate of Clean Hands (effective October 2021).
- in business for at least 2 years.
- Your business must have at least two years of operation.
- a D.C. business located in Ward 7 or 8
