This mini-grant program is available to agencies and organizations that focus on advocacy, prevention, faith-based support, support for people in recovery, or community services. Mini-grants are available to Bucks County organizations to address the detrimental effects of the opioid/overdose crisis currently experienced in Bucks County and to help protect the community from such adverse effects.

- Outreach initiatives
- Recovery supports
- Memorial events
- Prevention and education programs & activities
- Youth and family supports
Funding Information
- Total Amount Requested for 2023/2024 (Cannot exceed $25,000.00).
- The grant period will begin September 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024.
Guiding Principles for Use of the Opioid Settlement Funds
- Apply the Opioid Settlement Funds to address detrimental effects of the opioid/overdose crisis currently experienced in Bucks County and to help protect the community from such negative effects in the future.
- Provide services related to Opioid Use Disorders (OUD) and co-occurring substance use disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) conditions to all communities and residents in Bucks County with respect, dignity and equity while supporting culturally appropriate services and programs.
- Whenever possible, use existing resources in order that Opioid Settlement funds can be directed to addressing gaps in services and maintaining and enhancing established programs and activities.
- Support additional services which complement and/or enhance existing programs while avoiding unnecessary duplication of effort.
- Provide sustainability for proven and effective services for expiring grant programs.
- Collaborate with community organizations to develop, implement, and sustain services to the community.
- Convene and utilize a Bucks Opioid Settlement Advisory Committee as an advisory body for input and feedback regarding projects supported through Opioid Settlement Funds.
