The Mental Health Cultural Community Continuing Education Grant Program (MHCCCE), authorized by Minnesota Sessions Law, 2021 Chapter 7, section 44, was established for the purpose of assisting mental health professionals from communities of color and underrepresented communities to become qualified to serve as supervisors for mental health practitioners pursuing licensure.

Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants are accredited colleges, universities, and other post-secondary training institutions, including private educational entities offering continuing education courses within the mental health field. The applicant must be recognized by a mental health licensing board as an approved trainer or continuing education provider, or have submitted the training for board approval, at the time of application. The applicant must confirm the specific board(s) by which they are recognized as a qualified educational provider within the application form. The process for becoming recognized as a qualified training provider is defined and managed directly by individual licensing boards, and the requirements can vary.
