Types of Grants
- Small Grants
- The Telluride Arts Small Grants program is a long-term investment, supported by the Town of Telluride CCAASE Fund, to develop the expertise of local artists. Funds assist individual artists working in the visual, media, performing and literary arts. Artist projects may include the development, creation, completion or presentation of new work; and professional development such as conferences, workshops, residencies and classes. Artists are required to share work with the people of Telluride through a performance, publication, exhibit, screening, or a simple written or photo documentation of the project, in print or online. Telluride Arts will support this process through marketing and coordination.
- Augment Music Grants
- For the second year running, Augment Music Project—a local nonprofit and umbrella program of Telluride Arts that exists to foster and support the music culture of the greater Telluride region—is teaming up with Telluride Arts to offer additional grants earmarked for local musicians. Augment will be offering up to $2000 to each recipient and these funds can be used for anything from a new album project or music video to attending a music camp to help develop skills. The only caveat is that the funds and the project that they support have to come back to benefit the Telluride community in some way.
