The Placer County Air Pollution Control District (PCAPCD) is accepting applications for projects that reduce localized air pollution.
Donor Name: Placer County Air Pollution Control District
State: California
County:
Type of Grant: Grant
Deadline: 05/31/2023
Details:
This year’s Clean Air Grant program features approximately $3.2 million in grant funds for projects like repowering or replacing vehicles and equipment with the cleanest engines available and installing infrastructure projects that support California’s transformation to zero and almost zero emissions.
Funded by the California Air Resources Board’s Carl Moyer and Community Air Protection Incentive Programs, and other state and local funds, Clean Air Grants can reduce emissions of smog-forming pollutants in excess of those required by regulation. This reduces localized air pollution and improves air quality. A portion of the funds is reserved for projects that benefit low-income communities.
The District’s Clean Air Grant (CAG) Program provides monetary grants to private companies and public agencies to clean up their heavy-duty engines beyond that which is required by law or regulation through repowering, replacing, or retrofitting their engines, vehicles, or equipment. Grants may also fund infrastructure projects to support California’s transformation toward zero and near-zero emission technologies. A portion of Clean Air Grant Program funds is reserved for projects located within or benefitting low-income communities.
