The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana (HCCL) and Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation (HCCF) in partnership with Entergy are thrilled to announce a dedicated fund to award Hispanic Owned Businesses disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and natural disasters with grants that will assist them to offset the losses and move forward.

Goals
- Provide relief
- Provide grants of $2,500 to eligible businesses which can be used for rent, equipment, utilities, employee wages and benefits, inventory, accounts payable, etc.
- Provide assistance
- Assist Hispanic businesses to overcome negative impact and help scale while connecting them to other resources and tools.
- Encourage Businesses
- Help Hispanic owned businesses rebound from the aftermath of COVID-19 and natural disasters.
- Build the community
- Build a more equitable community and contribute to the economic development of the State of Louisiana.
Eligibility Requirements
In order to be considered eligible, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 51% Hispanic owned business for profit
- Be a “small business” as defined by the Small Business Administration size standards.
- Have been in business for at least 12 months prior to January 2020.
- Have a business revenue of US Dollars.
- Be able to demonstrate economic business loss.
- Be agreeable to participating in at least three (3) business resource and training sessions hosted by HCCL/HCCLF.
- Be LED Certified
- Be/Become a Member of Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Louisiana (HCCL)
- Federal or State documentation confirming business location
- Verification of EIN (Employee Identification Number) 2020/2021 Profit and Loss Statements, Schedule C State of Louisiana proof of good standing.
