The Loudoun Community Cabinet is seeking to grant up to $350,000 to nonprofit organization(s) working within Loudoun. Applicants should demonstrate how funding could further their capacity to improve housing production in Loudoun, leverage other funding and model innovative workforce housing strategies in Loudoun. Grants will be awarded for expenditure over a one-year period.
Grantmaking Priorities
- Nonprofit organizations serving Loudoun County are invited to submit applications for demonstration projects that further workforce housing and leverage other funding. Priorities include:
- Projects that advance and support workforce housing production in Loudoun, and/or;
- Projects that model innovative workforce housing strategies in Loudoun.
- Likelihood of project completion.
- Projects will be judged based on their innovation, replicability, impact on workforce housing production, and leverage of other resources. Eligible expenses include consultant fees, staffing costs, feasibility studies, site control costs, and/or planning expenses.
NOTE: Organizations may submit up to two applications for varied or unique projects. Please submit one unique application form per project.

An estimated $350,000 will be available for distribution. The minimum grant size expected to be awarded is $50,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit public charity in good standing with the IRS.
