The Greater Rochester Community Health Foundation (“GRCHF”) is a supporting organization of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. It was established with the proceeds from the sale of the nonprofit Frisbie Memorial Hospital to HCA Healthcare, Inc.
This grantmaking program awards to nonprofit organizations focusing on increasing access to dental, maternal and mental/behavioral health care, serving Strafford County residents.
Funding Information
Up to $25,000 for project support. These are nonrenewable, one-year grants.
Geographic focus
Funding is limited to organizations providing services in Strafford County, New Hampshire. If your organization is headquartered outside of Strafford County but considers Strafford County to be a primary service location, you are eligible to apply.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations must be recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Organizations that do not have public charity status may apply for grants if another public charity acts as a fiscal sponsor.
The following organization types should not apply:
- Public and private schools
- Hospitals
- Colleges and universities
- Religious organizations
- Municipalities and government entities
