Through the use of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding, this Fulton County Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant (FCSBG) program aims to deploy small business recovery grants for those hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic. The FCSBG program is aimed toward a swift and equitable deployment of American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) funds that have been designated for Fulton County, Illinois to assist in recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Funding Information
- $700,000 to small businesses across Fulton County that experienced losses in 2020/2021 due to COVID-19, including the following set-asides.
- $575,000 – Small Businesses
- $125,000 – Tourism/Seasonal Destination Businesses and Entertainment businesses that didn’t receive Shuttered Venue Operators Grants
- Grants will range from $2,500 to $50,000 per applicant and can be used to cover a wide range of operations/staff/overhead costs
Eligibility Criteria
- Businesses with revenues of $2 million or less in 2019 and a reduction in revenue in 2020 due to COVID19
- Businesses with revenue of $2 million or less in 2020 and a reduction of revenue in 2021 due to COVID19.
- Priority will be given to the following categories:
- Businesses who have yet to qualify for state funding or federal assistance (Downstate Small Business Stabilization Program (DSBS), Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF), Business Interruption Grant (BIG), Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG), and more)
- Prior to receiving an award, all grantees will need to sign the program Certification Agreement and provide required documentation before award funds will be released.
