This one-time grant program is being funded with $150,000 received from PG&E settlement and from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), and it was approved for this use by City Council in February 2022.
The goal of the DEIB Spaces Mini-Grant is to increase access to and secure spaces that create diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
Funding Information
- Eligible applicants may receive up to $5,000 in funding to implement their projects
- One year from date of funding approval.
Eligible Type of Event or Space
Eligible applications include events, classes, workshops, and projects that celebrate cultural wealth and educational opportunities for the community around diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in Santa Rosa. All events, classes, workshops, and projects must be free to participants and must take place within the city limits of Santa Rosa or must significantly benefit Santa Rosa residents.
Eligible Expenses
Eligible expenses include event/class materials and supplies, event/class equipment rentals, rental fees, permit and insurance fees or costs, and food costs.
Who can apply?
Nonprofits, neighborhood groups and/or associations, community groups and /or organizations, and schools may apply to the DEIB Spaces Mini-Grant Program.
