Your contributions will help bring their Kindness in Community (KiC) Fund to life in cities across the United States, in celebration of their tenth anniversary and their continued commitment to working for and with young people to validate their emotions and eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health.
The Kindness in Community (KiC) Fund is a fund created by Born This Way Foundation to meet unmet needs with kindness and in the spirit of community. It will allow their team to respond directly to the emerging and changing mental health needs of their non-profit partners and the communities they serve.
Born This Way Foundation wants to fund in partnership with community organizations, learning from them what works and how to make this as simple, high impact, and catalytic as possible.
Funding Information
Foundation commits grants for individual organizations to range between $25,000 – $50,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Born This Way Foundation will solicit proposals from 501(c)(3) organizations based in U.S. tour cities metro areas that are focused on mental wellness and:
- are informed and/or led by young people,
- are rooted in practices of inclusion and equity at all levels, and
- provide free and accessible resources.
Current U.S. Tour Cities: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Hershey, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, D.C.
