The City of San José’s Rent Relief Grants are being administered by the Enterprise Foundation via the Access Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
The program provides grants to small business owners that owe more than 60 days of rent arising from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as support local property owners.
There are $1.8 million in funds, provided by the American Rescue Plan Act, available to support up to 300 businesses.
Since 2020, City-initiated grant programs have disbursed $6.09 million in grants to support 499 San José small businesses owned by low- or moderate-income individuals, primarily from communities of color located within San José.
