Any 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, including schools and government agencies, that serve the West Virginia counties of Morgan, Berkeley and Jefferson are eligible to apply for funding.

Through the Community Solutions Fund, United Way works to strengthen the nonprofit sector by investing in local programs that align with the organization’s four strategic impact areas of education, financial stability, health, and basic needs and demonstrate consistency with the United Way mission, values, priorities, and commitment to addressing identified community needs.

- Maximum request $5,000
- For Community Impact Grant o Requests of $20,000 Any funded program may receive only one Community Impact or LIVE UNITED grant per UWEP’s fiscal year which runs from July 1 to June 30.
Eligibility Criteria
Any 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, including schools and government agencies, that serve the West Virginia counties of Morgan, Berkeley and Jefferson are eligible to apply for grants funded by the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle (UWEP). An organization may submit multiple applications for separate programs. However, any funded program may receive only one Community Impact or Live United grant per UWEP’s fiscal year.
