Objectives and Scope of Work
The objective of this funding is to build capacity for Community Land Trusts (CLTs) per the proviso in ESSB 5693. The following are the scope of work and expected deliverables:
Scope of Work
The work for this project includes in person and virtual trainings for organizations interested in adding capacity or forming a new community land trust. This will also include obtaining feedback from training sessions to further modify and tailor the trainings and toolkits to the needs of those attending.
Funding Information
- COMMERCE has budgeted an amount not to exceed $950,000 for this project.
- The period of performance of any contract resulting from this RFP is tentatively scheduled to begin on or about September 1st, 2022, and to end on June 30th, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum qualifications include:
- Licensed to do business in the State of Washington or submit a statement of commitment that it will become licensed in Washington within thirty (30) calendar days of being selected as the Apparently Successful Contractor.
- Each lead team member must have at least 15 years of experience in/with Community Land Trusts.
- The application must include a statement that the grantee has reviewed in detail the specified terms in the contract template, Attachment D. If there are any specific terms to which the organization could not abide, they must include these in their application.
- A signed affirmation the organization has sufficient capacity to conduct proposed activities, including the percentage of each staff member’s time available for this contract, must be included in the application.
