The recipient funded under this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) will use research and/or non-research approaches to enhance collaboration among federal, state, tribal, local, and territorial jurisdictions currently funded by NIOSH to implement OSH programs, and facilitate the participation in OSH surveillance programs and associated activities by jurisdictions not currently supported under NIOSH state surveillance grants. The funded recipient is expected to:
- Lead national level coordination and collaboration of OSH surveillance and communications in partnership with federal state, tribal, local, and territorial agencies.
- Support the development and growth of state, tribal, local, territorial, and non-governmental (NGO) partnerships to use and promote surveillance research to practice.
