Agencies that provide services in the following three areas will be eligible for funding and are invited to apply:
- Housing/Shelter – Safe and affordable housing access and retention. Including shelter, rent/mortgage assistance, utility assistance, deposit assistance, etc.
- Mental Health – Including behavioral health, youth mental health programs, etc.
- Food Security – Including food pantries, mass feeding providers, etc.
Funding Information
- Total available funding for this grant process is $204,000. A total of $102,000 for Housing/Shelter, $51,000 for Mental Health and $51,000 for Food Security
- The minimum grant award for the 2023-2024 Social Service Grant process will be $5,000.
Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met in order for an application to receive funding through the Cities Social Services Grant Program:
- The organization must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization
- The organization must serve City of Danbury residents.
