The Nashville SC Community Fund is a Donor Advised Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (CFMT). It supports charitable, non-profit organizations, registered as a 501(c)(3) with tax-exempt status from the IRS, and that are located within the Middle Tennessee area including Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Maury, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson counties.
Community Pillars
Grant requests must focus on one or more of the following areas for consideration:
- Youth
- Programs and activities that provide opportunities for youth to learn, thrive, and engage in meaningful experiences. Emphasis on programs that are youth-driven and provide involvement, leadership, and decision-making by young people.
- Health
- Programs and activities that promote physical and mental health to achieve strong homes, schools, workplaces, and communities. Emphasis on programs addressing health disparities, and related social, economic, environmental, and cultural factors essential for communities to flourish.
- Inclusion
- Programs and activities that promote safe, equitable and inclusive communities. Emphasis on programs that address disparities in marginalized communities including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, sexual identity and/or ability.
