Details:
The purpose of the Listos California Target Grant (LG) Program is to support organizations throughout California that serve smaller communities with equity priority factors located in areas at moderate to high risk of disaster. Community-based organizations (CBOS) throughout the State can work independently or subgrant with local CBOs to provide disaster training and resources to diverse populations disproportionately impacted by emergencies. This work is intended to increase their communities’ disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation capabilities.
Funding Information
- There is approximately $6 million in State General Funds available for the Program.
- Applicants may apply for up to $400,000.

For a proposal to be accepted for consideration
- Applicants must be a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status. Each Applicant must identify its entire organization’s service area not restricted by jurisdictional boundaries.
