Objectives
OJJDP has identified the following specific program objectives:
- Enhance and implement culturally and age or developmentally appropriate mentoring programs designed specifically for children of incarcerated parents that align with research and evidence on effective mentoring approaches.

- Native American Tribal governments (federally recognized)
- Native American Tribal organizations (other than federally recognized Tribal governments)
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
