The goal of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to increase public participation in District-wide air quality decisions and empower residents to be better advocates regarding air quality issues.
The purpose of this grant is to 1) develop and oversee a 7- to 15-person advisory committee; 2) collect and disseminate residents’ stories and experiences with poor air quality; and 3) inform the public about a newly created online mapping tool that will provide localized real-time air quality data.
