2025 Project Grants will allow organizations to apply for capacity building projects. This could include projects such as hiring a consultant to help develop a fundraising plan or a strategic plan. The project must be arts-related. For instance, a development plan for a history museum is not an eligible project.
Funding Information
The minimum grant request amount is $1,000 and the maximum grant request amount is $8,000.
Project Period
July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025 for FY25 grants.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible Applicants All eligible applicants must:
- Be located in Georgia;
- Be registered with the Georgia Secretary of State; and
- Have completed all requirements of any GCA or State of Georgia grant received in or prior to 2023.
- Organizations that received 2023 grants may apply for 2024 funding.
Performing arts groups such as a band or a chamber music quartet organized as a non-profit will be eligible to apply if a majority of the group’s members live in Georgia.
Eligible applicants must be one of the following:
- A non-profit organization registered with the IRS
- A government entity such as a city, county, or local authority·
- A public library
- A school
- An entity within a college/university that:
- has its own community advisory board
- receives at least 20% of its income for the project from outside of the college/university
- is not an academic department within the college/university
- manages its own budget
