The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has awarded $1,000,000 to the United Ways of Central, North Central, and South Central MA. This funding will be used to subgrant After School and Out of School Time Programs during the Summer of 2024.
The goal is to support ASOST programs by strengthening the quality of and increasing access to learning and enrichment programming that improve academic, college and career readiness, and social-emotional outcomes for youth.
This grant has been made possible due to the American Rescue Plan – Elementary & Secondary Education Emergency Relief (ARP-ESSER).
Grant awards will be made to support summer programs that:
- Provide comprehensive programming for youth in pre-k to 6th grade.
- Provide opportunities for students in grades 7-12 to gain exposure, skills, or experiences that will enhance post-secondary success.
Funding Information
Most grants will be between $10,000 and $50,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Grants will be made to 501c3 organizations and municipal governments.
