Wieden+Kennedy, the creative agency behind Nike, the Old Spice Guy, and the Return of Colonel Sanders, is looking for eight creative people who want to learn the art of making advertising that impacts culture.
Donor Name: Wieden+Kennedy
State: Oregon
City: Portland
Type of Grant: Incubator
Deadline (mm/dd/yyyy): 02/14/2022
Details:
You will learn to make advertising, but you won’t learn here by reading dusty-ass advertising textbooks. You’ll learn by making things together, including some projects for real clients. Maybe music videos. Documentaries. Depop stores. Posters. Merch. And pretty much anything else we think deserves to be out in the world.
It’s an intense six-month program where eight candidates will collaborate and learn to make creative advertising through a patented method called “making stuff.” Working as a creative unit, the Kennedys will be given real assignments, including work from actual clients, under the guidance of two full-time directors.
- Class size: 8
- Application Deadline: February 14, 2022
- Kennedys start date: April 1, 2022.
- Ending date: October 1, 2022.
- $1500/month housing stipend
- $17/hour plus overtime
- Flights to and from Portland
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

They welcome people of all ages, including 43, 36, 19, 78, 55, and 24. As long as you’re over 18.
