The final report contains a budget showing actual expenses and revenue and may contain additional information regarding audience size, press, and general impact.

Guidelines
The Ross McKee Foundation funds piano performance and education in the nine San Francisco Bay Area counties.
- While any SF Bay events and educational opportunities related to the piano are eligible for a grant, the Board favors applications that feature the piano and local pianists. Applications can be for individual performances or pianist participation across a series or season.
- Many of the organizations funded in recent years are smaller (with annual budgets under $100k), but are presenting regular seasons, raising money through grants/donations, and building audiences.
- Grant amounts are determined by the Foundation’s Board upon consideration of all of the application materials. Funding is dependent on the project being executed as described in the application. The Board should receive timely notification of any changes to the project during the season. If the project has substantially changed in scope, the Foundation may adjust the funding amount.
- The Foundation rarely funds individuals or for-profit organizations.
- The Foundation does not fund the purchase of instruments.
- Educational support is most often handled through the creation of a named scholarship or via a contribution to a scholarship fund intended for Bay Area students.
