The Northwest Connecticut Arts Council is pleased to announce Access grants to provide general operating support to eligible entities.
Donor Name: Northwest Connecticut Arts Council
State: Connecticut
Town: Selected Towns
Type of Grant: Grant
Deadline (mm/dd/yyyy): 10/31/2022
Details:
The intention of these funds is to: Enable organizations to carry out their missions with greater capacity for providing access to the arts and engaging underserved populations. The way their communities engage with one another and with the arts has altered following the pandemic, and as a consequence, the way they must operate has shifted as well. This funding will help you navigate this transitory season, so you can meet your audience where they are at and continue blessing them with your work.
They want to invest in the arts community, their recovery from the effects of COVID-19, and continued growth in order to:
- Leverage the restorative power of the arts to support the holistic health of their region.
- Improve access to and engagement with the arts – specifically amongst underserved populations (those whose opportunities to experience the arts are limited by ethnicity, economics, geography, or disability).
