Program areas that will be considered for funding include projects in arts and culture, education, social services for the public, environment, basic needs and more.
The Greater Cedarburg Foundation supports projects and programs that help make the greater Cedarburg area unique. The Foundation considers all types of projects, with an emphasis on those that creatively focus on:
- Preserving and enriching their cultural heritage
- Enhancing their artistic and aesthetic experiences
- Providing educational, recreational and community service opportunities for all ages.
Grants for a project will generally be limited to one year. If the project is expected to be ongoing, it is assumed that the agency will develop additional funding sources. In exceptional cases, projects may be supported for more than one year, but generally for not more than two or three years.
Eligible Organizations
Grants are awarded to non-profit organizations, designated as tax-exempt by the Internal Revenue Service, or occasionally to select government agencies. Grants will not be made to individuals.
