Funding is intended to support:
- Groups traveling to research solutions to local issues in Muhlenberg County, which could include conferences or organized visits to other communities who are modeling innovative solutions.
- Individuals pursuing personal leadership development opportunities which can be put into practice for the benefit of Muhlenberg County. Funding is NOT intended to support or replace standard professional development for employees.

Your application must include the following attachments:
- Leadership Opportunity Summary: Provide a summary describing your leadership opportunity in 500 words or less.
- Benefit to Muhlenberg: Provide a brief summary of how this opportunity can benefit Muhlenberg County, or how you will share knowledge gained.
- Total Budget: Include a copy of the cost of the opportunity, as well as any other funding sources secured.
- Letters of Recommendation: Include two letters of recommendation from persons who support you or the group’s project in this leadership opportunity. The recommendations may not be from family members.
- Supporting Documentation: You may choose to include any other supporting documentation that you believe supports the grant application.
