Funding will support nonprofit (501c3) organizations looking to establish or grow programming focused on education, arts and crafts, workforce development, financial literacy and more.
Proposals should support summer youth opportunities.
All programs should meet one or more of the outcomes below:
- To decrease the number of youth-involved violent incidents
- To improve youth “work readiness” skills
- To encourage youth to continue their education or find employment
- To provide academic enrichment
Proposal Screening
All proposals will be screened for eligibility and then reviewed using the following criteria:
- Demonstrated ability of the applicant and any partners to deliver quality services, including a rationale for how their programs and practices affect outcomes youth.
- Strength of partnership between community-based organizations and systems partners, as demonstrated by a track record of previous collaborations and/or memoranda of understanding.
- Capacity and experience in authentically engaging youth in program design, program delivery, and past experience.
- Completed application, budget, and all required forms.
