What help is available?
- Those eligible to apply include households with elderly members age 60 or older, or have a family member who is disabled. Applications for all other income-eligible households will begin Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
- Your household may be able to receive a one-time payment for your utility bill if you meet income guidelines. Assistance level depends on income level, family size, the type of fuel you use to heat your home and other factors. If you heat your home with liquid propane (LP), you can qualify to receive a delivery of propane through this program.
- If you have received a disconnection notice or if you are disconnected from your power source, they may have funding to assist you.
Application Requirement
- Applicants will need to provide the following documentation:
- ID’s for all household members
- A copy of their most recent heating, electric, or water bill
- Proof of gross income for all household members from ONE of the following time frames*:
- Past 30 days
- The most recent 12 months
- The past calendar year
- *All income must be from the same time frame. Please select one of the options and submit all applicable documentation.
- This application has many stages or “tasks” associated with it. At the end of each task, you will select the “mark as complete” button and then select the next task. - When the application refers to your “household” this includes all persons living in your home, related to you or not. This could include children, grandchildren, spouses, parents, aunts, uncles, roommates, partners, and more.
