The Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation located in Mill Valley, CA. They provide financial and other forms of support to those in need in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a special emphasis on the North Bay and East Bay.
Consideration is limited to organizations whose programs support their overall mission, which is to fund and facilitate the most promising organizations aimed at improving the quality of life for Bay Area adults and children in need.
The focus is two-fold:
- To support innovative organizations dedicated to serving adults and children experiencing a health crisis, and
- To support educational, arts, athletic and nutritional programs demonstrating a commitment to their children’s future.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Foundation provides sponsorship support and grants only to nonprofit organizations that are exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation does not support individuals or for-profit organizations, or fund capital improvements, religious activities, program advertising, political parties, offices or candidates.
- The Foundation has a geographic focus, providing funds only for programs and services that benefit residents of the San Francisco Bay Area, with a special emphasis on Marin County.
