Donor Name: Milford United Way
State: Connecticut
City: Milford
Type of Grant: Grant
Deadline: 09/29/2023
Details:
The annual grant program is central to the mission as a United Way chapter, providing local nonprofits with the means to fulfill their own missions. Through this funding, the Milford United Way multiplies its capacity to positively impact the lives of Milford residents.
Whether it’s disaster relief, emergency funds, diapers or school supplies, they continue to seek ways to directly impact the lives of people in need in community.
The grant program is more than just a financial investment; it’s a commitment to partnership.
The Milford United Way is dedicating a limited portion of this year’s grant budget to nonprofits we are not currently funding that provide residents of Milford with services in the areas of food, housing and/or mental health. These three areas were not chosen arbitrarily. The Milford United Way has a responsibility to respond to community’s toughest challenges, and these are the areas of greatest need in Milford according to several reliable sources of data.
