The Grant will allow charitable organizations throughout South Florida to request financial support for programs and initiatives that are benefiting their community and fall within one of the Florida Panther Foundation’s 4 pillars: Children’s Health and Education, Veterans’ Issues, Youth Hockey, and conservation of the Florida panther.
The Foundation will award grants for specific projects and one-time programs, but not for general operating costs, staff salaries, sponsorships, capital campaigns, endowments or reserve funds or grants to individuals, PTA’s or Booster Clubs.
Funding Information
Organizations can apply for ONE of the following individual Foundation grants levels: $5,000, $10,000, $15,000 and $20,000.
Eligibility Criteria
The organization must be a 501(c)(3) organization or government agency serving the South Florida area. Some national organizations may apply, but priority will be given to local organizations.
Please be prepared to upload the following documents in PDF format:
- Copy of current IRS determination (proof of 501(c)(3) status)
- Provide a line-item budget for this project, specifically outlining revenue AND expenditures and clearly note what costs will be covered by the Florida Panthers Foundation
- Names and affiliation of the organization’s Board of Directors
- Copy of current IRS Form 990
- Logo – PNG or JPG high resolution
- Organization’s most recent IRS W9 tax form Applications missing any of the above information will not be considered. Please do not mail any information, only applications submitted online will be reviewed.
