The Foundation’s mission is to improve the lives of all people, but especially residents of the greater Washington, DC metropolitan region (DC/MD/VA).

- With their financial help, their grant awardees will foster progression of the individual and therefore, the community.
- They seek to support organizations that create strong and sustainable bonds of trust between those living in the communities they support, and the infra-structure of that community.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Foundation principally supports projects and initiatives located in the greater Washington, D.C. region (DC/MD/VA) by funding human services, health care initiatives and furthering the cause of education with measurable and tangible objectives. Grants will only be provided to entities organized and operated exclusively for charitable or educational purposes, which have qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- The Foundation does not support basic research, scholarships, publications, films, construction, acquisition of buildings, special events, fund raising, sectarian religious activities, political lobbying or legislative activities. They also tend not to support capital improvement and challenge grant requests.
