The purpose of this grant is to provide small arts organizations with 2-years of general operating support. Priority consideration will be given to organizations led by or prioritizing programs for Black, Indigenous and other People of Color, and to geographic diversity among the grant recipient organizations.

Grant decisions will be made based on the following considerations:
- The need expressed in the application for general operating support. This can also include maintaining vital arts programming and/or providing or expanding new arts programming that is otherwise inaccessible or limited to the organizations’ target audience
- Geographic representation. Grants will be distributed throughout the state
Criteria
Organizations must:
- Have had a total annual operating budget of $500,000 or less during the organization’s most recently completed fiscal year
- Have a primary mission or key programmatic focus on visual and/or performing arts
- Have a demonstrated track record of providing visual and/or performing arts programming, a majority of which were delivered in the state of Arkansas within the last 12 months
- Be located in the state of Arkansas
- Hold 501(c)3 nonprofit status from the IRS (or have a fiscal sponsor who confirms their support of the application)
