HCF supports the mission of Halstead, Kansas by granting funds to worthy organizations that strive to help Halstead become a better place for all area citizens, now and in the future.
The Halstead Community Foundation Impact Fund has approximately $3,500 to be awarded for the purpose of supporting charitable projects/program that benefit those in the Halstead community. The Kansas Health Foundation Fund – Halstead has approximately $1,500 to underwrite solutions of local health issues for the protection and promotion of the health and well-being of individuals and their communities through the encouragement of healthy lifestyles, behaviors, and environments. The amount requested and types of projects/programs will determine the number of grants and amount to be awarded. If you are awarded a grant, the checks will be distributed following board approval of the awards and the charities will be recognized at the Old Settler’s Picnic.

- Serve or enhance the community of Halstead
- Not exceed $1,500
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this opportunity, your organization must meet the following requirements:
- Possess 501(c)(3) status under the Internal Revenue Service code, be exempt under statute (i.e. educational institution, church, a city or county), or be formally linked to an organization with such designation
- Management should be in the hands of reliable, ethical, and experienced personnel
