Catalyst attracts and funds solutions that take advantage of the speed, efficiency and versatility of 5G and leading-edge wireless technologies to deepen our connection to one another and make their communities stronger.
Catalyst supports entities, both for-profit and nonprofit, that have the potential and infrastructure in place to make a real impact, but that may face barriers to accessing capital. Organizations whose leadership primarily comprises of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities, women, and/or veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
Up to six applicants will receive financial and non-financial benefits, with Catalyst awarding over $200,000 in unrestricted grants.
Funding Information
All Finalists will receive an unrestricted grant award in the following amounts:
- First Place: $100,000
- Second Place: $50,000
- Third Place: $25,000
- Honorable Mention: $10,000; The Foundation will award up to three Honorable Mentions totaling $30,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be registered and operate in the United States and/or the United States Territories.
- Applicants must assume one of the following legal statuses:
- Nonprofit organization;
- For-profit organization with a demonstrated commitment to social good; or,
- B-Corporation.
- Applicants must complete and submit the application form by the submission deadlines.
- The Foundation will not consider late or incomplete submissions.
- Applicants cannot be past or current CTIA members at any point in the application and awards process.
