The purpose of this grant is to provide increased culturally relevant food support to food-insecure individuals, with a focus on Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities currently underserved within their own neighborhoods.
Target Population
While this RFP is designed for all populations and ethnicities residing in San Francisco, programs shall have a focus on food-insecure community members in the following five service areas:
- Chinatown (94108, 94133)
- Portola and Visitacion Valley (94134)
- Excelsior and Ingleside (94112)
- Parkside, Sunset, and Lakeshore (94116, 94122, 94132)
- Richmond (94118, 94121)
Funding Information
- The total estimated funding for this RFP is approximately $1,550,000 for the grant term, which may increase or decrease depending on funding availability.
- Project Period: A grant awarded pursuant to this Solicitation shall have a tentative term of thirteen (13) months, June 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.
