The Restaurant Assistance Program offers onetime grants up to a maximum of $15,000 to eligible restaurants. The funds may be used to assist restaurant owners with payroll, mortgage/lease payments, utility costs, and increased operating costs as a result of the public health emergency, including the purchase of face coverings, partitions and other measures taken to contain the spread of the virus.

Eligibility Criteria
- A restaurant must fall into one of the following categories: quick service, casual dining, fine dining, or fast casual dining. Restaurants must demonstrate how they have been negatively impacted by COVID-19.
- Restaurants must be in La Mirada and if they received funds for small businesses previously offered by the City, the amount previously received will be deducted from the $15,000 available under this program.
- Restaurants may not be home based and must have between 1-25 employees.
- Restaurants must have been in business during the 2020 State-mandated lockdown and must have had an active City business license from January 2020 through December 2021.
