The Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation is seeking applications for Laura Southwick Award to provide enrichment grants for up to $1,000 to young people between the ages of 14 and 17 (freshman, sophomore and junior) who have shown an interest in the applied or fine arts.

This award honors the memory of Laura Southwick who loved the arts and was an Oak Park and River Forest High School graduate in 1986. The hope of this award is that this support will encourage young people to begin discovering their own style and start shaping their creative aspirations. Grant(s) will be awarded in the spring of the academic year to selected students.
