Childnet International is looking for films made by young people that inspire their friends and others to create positive changes in online spaces! If they’ve got something original to say about creating a better and safer internet, then they’d love to know about it! Remember films should be both entertaining and educational.

- The winning film will feature on the Childnet website and the UK Safer Internet Centre website, as well as being shared via Childnet and UK Safer Internet Centre social media channels.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Childnet Film Competition: International 2024 forms part of the Childnet Film Competition 2024, organised by Childnet International.
- The Childnet Film Competition: International is open to young people aged 7–18.
- The Childnet Film Competition: International is open to all young people who reside outside of the UK. There is a separate competition and entry process for UK entries.
- All films entered into the competition must be overseen by a supervising adult to ensure the film content and copyright terms have been adhered to.
- Schools can enter more than one film so long as the participating children for each group are different.
- Each group can be up to 8 people, including those behind the scenes.
