Cripta747 Residency Program is aimed at those who demonstrate strong, coherent and recognizable research both in the conceptual development and in the material production of the work. The residency enhances the research process and redefines the methods of diffusion of artistic, critical and curatorial practices in a context free from exhibition constraints. The program is structured in such a way as to encourage study and research by facilitating access to the historical-cultural, bibliographic and archival heritage as well as to the productive fabric of the territory, through meetings with professionals, studios, experts and craftsmen present in city.
Scholarship and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a scholarship of € 5,750 broken down as follows:
- EUR 3,750ÿ (up to a maximum of) Fee per diem to be calculated on the basis of the actual days of residence. (eg: students, local communities, informal groups or particular segments of the population, etc…).
- The minimum stay is 8 weeks (56 days), even non-continuous, and can extend up to a maximum of 12 weeks between the months of September and December 2023;
- EUR 2,000 (up to a maximum of) to cover production costs.
Funding Information
Groups can apply with a single proposal, but the total amount of the scholarship will remain €5,750.
Eligibility Criteria
- The open call is aimed at artists, curators and researchers, with no age limits and no restrictions related to the language, practices or themes addressed in their work. The candidates must be Italian citizens, or foreign citizens active in the national territory or with research projects in Italy.
- Participants must demonstrate structured and coherent research in both conceptual and formal production.
