This funding opportunity is designed to support place-based neighborhood organizations that demonstrate a need for capacity building support. The goal is for the 10 grantees to form a learning community to share best practices that can be used to reduce violence throughout Cincinnati. To further these aims, the 10 selected grantees will receive the following supports to strengthen their proposed projects:
- Grant Award of $13,500
- Training Series to Support Implementation
- Monthly Grantee Sessions (grantees will gather for peer support and to share key learnings each month of the grant cycle: Summer 2022 – Spring 2023)
- Capacity Building Support
- Access to Evaluation and Data Collection Tools
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for funding, eligible organizations must meet the following criteria:
- Be currently serving in the Cincinnati neighborhood they intend to serve for their project from the ten Cincinnati neighborhoods identified: West End, Over-the-Rhine, Walnut Hills, Avondale, East Price Hill, Westwood, Winton Hills, Evanston, West Price Hill, and Bond Hill.
- Have a focus on violence prevention.
- Have operating budgets under $1,000,000.00 per year as evidenced by budget documentation.
- Demonstrate a need for capacity building support.
