Details:
Grant funds must be used to implement or improve workplace amenities or benefits that support smart mobility options for employees (e.g., bike, walk, carpool, transit, and vanpool). Examples include:
- One-time reimbursable purchases
- On-site facility improvements:
- Bike parking, bike storage, bike repair stands
- Carpool parking signage
- lockers
- Information kiosks
- Mobility improvements:
- Employee bike-share bikes/scooters, helmets, locks
- Transit passes
- City Go memberships
- Vanpool vouchers/contract van subsidy
- Other options will be considered
Funding Information
The Commuteride Workspace Mobility Grant provides up to $3,000 in financial assistance to small organizations located in Ada County to support smart mobility options for employees and customers.
Eligibility Criteria
They are seeking applications from businesses and organizations that meet the following requirements:
- Have no more than 200 employees
- Located within Ada County
- In good standing and not federally prohibited from receiving funds.
- Have an official EIN number
- The business does not exist for the purpose of advancing partisan political activities or the business does not directly lobby federal or state officials, defined as having had a registered lobbyist at any point during 2021.
- The business is not a 501c4 organization.
Increased consideration will be given to 501c3 non-profit organizations, and/or registered Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), and organizations serving/employing low-income, minority, or other underrepresented or vulnerable populations (including seniors).
