Funding Information
The Services for Older Adults iFund program provides grants for between $5,000 – $30,000 to support organizations in Oklahoma, Cleveland, and Canadian Counties.
Eligible Projects
Eligible projects will offer one or more of the following:
- Support independent living: Programming that provides services that enable older adults to live independently, outside of institutional settings, and address specific needs that allow independent living in their home to continue.
- Wellness services: Programming that provides wellness and physical activity opportunities that encourage improved health for older adults.
- Social and recreational services: Programming that provides positive social and recreational opportunities for older adults who are otherwise isolated or unable to participate in community programs.
Preference will be given to:
- Programs that leverage resources and that demonstrate collaboration between two or more organizations.
- Programs with proven success or those most likely to achieve the goals of the program with an identified population.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant organization must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
- The applicant organization must be able to provide at least three years of financial statements.
- Programs must serve adults aged 65 and older, and activities must be in-person.
- Programs must provide direct services in central Oklahoma.
- Organizations must have a governing board located in central Oklahoma.
- Grants will not be made to individuals or private foundations.
- Organizations may submit a letter of interest or application for no more than one project during a single grant cycle.
