While their funding priorities have a broad base, they all share a single purpose — to improve and strengthen communities throughout Oregon. In considering grant applications, they look for significant projects that hold promise to accomplish a measurable impact in the area of Education, Health, Arts, and Environment. They provide funding to applicants that possess the ability to achieve uncommon results.
If you’ve reviewed their Funding Priorities and believe your organization might be a good fit for one of them, here’s what you need to know to get started:
- The Fast Track Grant Program is for requests $12,499 and under. The Fast Track application process is designed to provide eligible organizations with streamlined access and support to organizations with operating budgets under $500,000. (Larger organizations are welcome to apply if they prefer this opportunity.)
- The Mid Size Grant Program serves requests from $12,500 to $50,000. The Mid Size grant process is open to eligible organizations whose operating budgets are $500,000+ and requires a site visit. Applications are reviewed then selected organizations are advanced. Selected organizations will have a site visit with Foundation representatives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible organizations need to be established 501(c)(3) organizations for more than 3 years.
- The organization, operations, services and staff should be based in Oregon, conducting Oregon activities.
- Public schools, Oregon municipalities, and Tribal entities are also eligible to apply.
- Programming needs to be established & ongoing, with an implemented measurement tool or process.
- Before applying, other funding partners must be committed and listed on the application.
- A letter of support(s) from a partner or collaborator is required on the application. A memorandum of understanding (MOU) or contract can also be uploaded in lieu of a letter of support.
- Grant funding is expected to be spent within one year of disbursement to support ongoing programming.
