- EMCID has the sole discretion in the award of each grant. EMCID will give higher priority to applications for projects which will best advance EMCID’s purposes and goals.
- Applicants are encouraged to match or supplement the amount of funds requested for the project. EMCID will give higher priority to those applications in which the applicant is providing funds to pay for a portion of the project that is the subject of the grant application.
- Projects and/or the beneficiaries of projects to be funded by grants must be located and/or reside or serve persons residing within the boundaries of EMCID.
- EMCID will generally consider applications for projects with “one-time” or “lump sum” costs. Evidence of the applicant’s source of funds for such ongoing funding must be submitted with the application.
- EMCID will not consider applications for projects that put a permanent structure on private property.
