Somerset County appropriates to meet the comprehensive whole health service needs of Somerset County residents and promote long-term recovery from substance use/co-occurring disorders.
Somerset County appropriates funds (OPIOID Settlement Fund, Johnson & Johnson) to meet the needs of County residents, as identified in the County’s Comprehensive Plan (CCP) for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Services for Prevention, Early Intervention, Treatment and Recovery Support Services and the advisement of the County Advisory Council (CAC). These funds are meant to serve residents of Somerset County that have been harmed directly or indirectly by the opioid epidemic, which has been caused, in part, by the entities within the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain. Somerset County, along with the State of New Jersey, share a common desire to abate and alleviate the effects of the opioid epidemic throughout the community.
Funding Information
The total award amount for the Community-Based Recovery Housing is $20,000.00, for a two year period, contingent upon availability of annual allocations to Somerset County.
Eligibility Criteria
A licensed non-profit agency or county government entity is eligible to apply for the above-stated category of Opioid Settlement funding.
