Assistance will be distributed in the form of grants to aid individuals who have current overdue approved utility bills (electricity, gas, water/sewage, and trash removal). These are one-time grants that do not need to be repaid.

Eligibility Criteria
Individuals must meet the following criteria to apply for the Cooper City Utility Assistance Community Grant Program:
- Aged 18 years or older on or before January 1, 2020
- Current residence and mailing address in Cooper City and must maintain this residence through the time the funds are distributed (exception will be made if moving to another address within Cooper City)
- Named as the bill holder of an overdue utility bill(s)
